What we do
Pack 86 mixes monthly den adventures with memorable Pack-wide events. Families participate together, and there’s room for every comfort level.
Our exact calendar lives in BAND, but these are the traditions families can look forward to.
Pack campouts
We camp nearby—often at places such as Greene Valley or Waterfall Glen—so first-time campers can join comfortably. The Pack can help families borrow tents or sleeping bags through local Troop friends. Campout costs are covered by dues and fundraising.
Past adventures include the Field Museum, USS Silversides, Schaumburg Boomers Stadium, and the Air Zoo. Pack funds subsidize these trips.
Families can attend council Day Camp, Family Camp at Camp Betz, and resident camp at Camp Owassippe.
